The study will focus on the present state of the organization and their DT efforts, adoption of ExO traits, exponential technology adaptation, leadership readiness and the challenges they face. The insights developed by the study would be a useful tool for organizations in their DT journey as the try to become Exponential organizations.

2.1 Research Questions

The aim of this study is to explore the readiness of Sri Lankan organizations and their leadership in becoming an Exponential Organization through Digital Transformation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and will attempt to answer the following questions

(1) What is the level of awareness of the Fourth Industrial, Exponential Organization and Digital Transformation among Sri Lankan business leaders?

(2) What are the exponential technologies and exponential organizational traits being adopted?

(3) What is the technology, leadership and human capital challenges experienced during the process of Digital Transformation?
