In which that case that makes me first generation. My first language is Spanish and second language is English. Which also means that Mexico is pretty much my second home. I go every year for around month so that I can spend time with family who can't come to the United States. I also love my Mexican Food. Let me tell you. I live with my mom, dad, little brother. I have a close family and a lot of aunts, uncles, cousins and much much more. I can't see my life with anybody that I know now. Being raised the way I was, was shown that family is something super important. In reality I still don't know half my uncles or aunts, and even cousins. Every year I meet at least 5 new family members or more. I value respect, kindness, and my faith with the church. Over the summer I went to California to visit my aunt. My aunt is not the one to go to church or to pray. She taught me that I my self am my own ruler. When going through the practices with her, I realized something. That what she learns and what she does is to benefit her. I learned to take care of my self for a change and to become more positive in my life and to spread that to others. Because staying in the negative in your life will not get you to your goals and dreams. In all of this I feel that not a lot of people value them self as a person. Now lets not expect that I have traveled the world. But I do hop on a plane at least 5 times or more a year ! I want to travel the world. Right now I'm planning a 21 day backpacking trip to Japan ! I usually go on these trips to see my family or to get away from home and get a vacation if you know what I mean! This past summer I went to Tijuana and Ensenada which is located on in Baja California. Which was pretty amazing. I've never been. So it was pretty interesting to see what a different part of Mexico looked compared to where I lived. But traveling is honestly something I do all the time. I want to get a degree and finish school and having a degree in teaching ESL. I want to be able to travel more and at least visit 15 countries. But my biggest goal right now. Is by the end of my time being in school I want to be able to teach for two years in a different country. It has always been a dream of mine to teach somewhere foreign. I want to be able to help kids learn because you know they want to learn. Being in ESL I know what its like being different from everybody else and not knowing what anybody is saying.
