He changed because in the original he was a bad guy who eat the granny but failed and died. In Hoodwinked he was a bad guy who tried to eat granny failed got caught then started to become a good guy.

The movie that it was traditionally based off of was Little Red Riding Hood. It is similar because it has all the same characters and the same events. In my book Superhero Dc Comics Secret Society: Science fair   book the mood changes a lot throughout the book. It changes because batman is one if the main characters and he is always killing the vibe. See in school they are spies who find out all of the drama going around the school. Then there is times when the secret society (there name) wants to take a break batman brings up fighting bad guys and solving the crimes and it makes everyone mad then the book just falls apart. In my book Superhero Dc Comics Secret Society: Science fair  the tone changes a lot just like the mood. Where i saw were the tone was when batman and his crew found about his the mysterious eye things got a lot more serious. I think the author made the story or text like this because in the beginning of the book it was very goofy and it could really loose attention. So by making it more serious can get the crowed more into the book. As you can see the picture from the picture to my left there is a bunch of people going crazy just like my book. See in my book all of the characters have super powers. So that being a thing they are all different. One may have super speed so one is running through the halls then you have a person to mind control so that person is moving stuff around with there mind. It is very chaotic because everyone is doing there own thing and this is why my picture fits in my story the best.
