1.Pakistan has many natural hazards, one is that in the north and west there are frequent earthquakes. These earthquakes can be devastating to homes and people. Also because of the heavy rain, they have flooding along the Indus river mostly in July and August.
2. Some other Issues they face is they have water pollution/ limited natural freshwater this causes the woman to have to walk miles to get clean water.

This is a photo of pakistan after a devastating Earthquake in 2015.

Daily Life ( Life experiences)
1. Pakistan diets mainly consist of chapti or roti which is unleavened bread, curry, and rice. These meals are in peoples every day breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. They also eat meat like lamb beef and chicken If you are poor you will only eat meat on special occasions but more affluent families eat it more often.
2. The main sports in Pakistan are cricket which is the most watched and played, soccer, tennis, field hockey, and squash are also played often. Many people have started to bet on cricket illegally. Many people also have built venues for cricket or if you are poor play on rooftops with washing bats and tennis balls.

1. Pakistan's type of government is a federal republic with a president and prime minister. The government is a federation of four provinces. It also includes the Parliament. There is a multiparty system with the Nawaz, Tchreek-e-Insaf, and other smaller parties.
2. The government faces challenges like poverty, terrorism and corruption and is heavily influenced by the military. The constitution includes freedom of religion, but religious and ethnic minorities face discrimination and violence. Many of these problems cause the people to distrust many politicians who they feel don't keep promises and should do more.

Pakistan's president, Arif Alvi

1. Pakistan's culture is not like ours. First I want to mention their customs. One custom is that a person's bottom of their foot/ shoe should not face another person. Because of this, they have to go cross their legs or sit in a different position. Another custom is that items must be passed with their right hand or both. Lastly, it is impolite if in public people of opposite sex touch. Even when in a large groups men and woman eat separately. Because of these customs, it shows how their culture is divided, compared to others.
2. More on culture in Pakistan they mostly speak Punjabi (48%) , Sidhi (12%) , Saraiki (10%) , Pashtu (8%) , Urdu (8%) , Balochi (3%) , Hindko (2%), Brahui (1%) Majority of the populations religion is Muslim (96.4%).

This is a photo of a family eating on the floor.

1. Education in Pakistan is now mandatory and free for kids ages five to sixteen. While the literacy rates are improving, they are still low, especially for girls. It's one of the lowest in the world, and in some rural areas, less than 10% of the girls can read.
2. The quality of government schools are low, the money spent on education is less than 3% of the gross domestic product. The wealthy families are able to put their kids in private school, but many people don't have enough money for that. As a result, many children drop out to support their families.

Religion
1. In Pakistan, 90% of the people that are Muslim are mostly Sunni. The Muslims usually pray five times a day. The Sunni take religion very seriously and are praying a lot, along with going to church as well.
2. Even though the people of Pakistan are mainly Sunni, there are still 10% that are Hindus. Every Friday, all the Muslims attend a special prayer service together. Even though there are only 10% of Hindus they still take there religion very seriously along with many other people in Pakistan.

1. Many children drop out off schools to financially help their families who are in poverty. The fees are too much to go to schools for the families so the decision to drop out can save money for the family to buy food, water and clothes for their siblings and parents.
2. The prime minister of Pakistan is trying to limit the amount of poverty in the land. He thinks that the amount of poverty is too high and they need to cut it down. Part of the population are Afghanistan refugees who are all in poverty on the border. In Pakistan 42% of men get jobs as farmers and few in medical industries or any other industries but the ones who don't are all in poverty
