Why was the classical period referred to as the dark ages in Europe?&nbsp;<br>During the classical period there was little recorded history during that time period which lead to it being called the dark ages.&nbsp;<br>2. Explain why a peasant would agree to the contract of feudalism&nbsp;<br>A peasant would agree to the contract of feudalism because they have no other choice. Their back is against a wall and they must accept it since the lord is offering them land. Although they must do free labor and offer the lord produce and do whatever he wants they cant refuse to the contract. </div>]]></description>

If 'Dark Age' means a time period when bad events ocurred, what do you think a 'golden age' means?&nbsp;<br>A golden age means when only positive events occur such as economic growth, an increasin amount of cultural output. Basically when everything is going well for a country/place at that point in time.&nbsp;<br>2. What events would have to occur during a golden age in order for it to be 'golden'?&nbsp;<br>For an age to be classifies as golden i believe many factors play into this. One of them being economic growth. Also, the overall happiness of the population and prosperity for the majority of the population. Less cons and more pros. </div>]]></description>

What were the crusades?<br>The Crusades were religious motivated war you could say. The roman catholic church wanted to gain back the holy land known as jerusalem which resulted in them killing thousands of people in an effort to gain back that land. </div>]]></description>
