The operating process of the machine consists of 5 steps:

Step1:Workpiece jig . First, you have to expand the chuck. Then put the workpiece into the chuck and tighten the workpiece.

Step 2: Cutting tool jig. First, you must Attach the turning tool to the tool stand. Next, Adjust the height of the tool head by the center of the workpiece. Finally, you use the clamp tool to clamp.

Step3: Cutting mode adjustment. You adjust the spindle speed and adjust the vertical and horizontal span according to the original calculated cutting mode.

Step4: Cutting. First you turn on the lathe. Then you take the knife in contact with the workpiece. Next you take the depth of the cut and adjust the crank wheel. Then let the machine run automatically. Finally, turn off the lathe.

Step5: The last step is to check the dimension, you use a caliper to check the required size and remove the workpiece from the chuck .

First of all, To protect the environment, we can contribute our small activities as a normal citizen and as a mechanical engineer in the future.
As a normal citizen, in daily life, the first, we can protect the earth by not littering the environment. Second, we can save electricity by turning off the lights whenever we don’t need. Besides, we can use public transport instead of motorbikes and cars.
As an engineer majoring a mechanical engineering, I should not only care about my job but also try to help save the environment. Here are what I can do to protect our planet. First and foremost, I need to save water and electricity by turning off when not using. Secondly, I shouldn’t throw the trash into the environment, we should pick up the trash. Thirdly, I shoud use the public transport instead of my own vehicle. Besides, in my job, I can do some seminars in rurals areas and rural schools about the use clean fuel and avoid cutting down the trees for the cooking fuels. Last but not least, I will design the products that uses the alternative energy instead of fossil fuel.
