         <description><![CDATA[<div>Connecticut is a New England state bordered by Massachusetts to the north, Rhode Island to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the south, and New York to the west. In Connecticut there were Rivers, lakes, And Mountains, Forest hills, and seacoast.&nbsp; The name of the river comes from the Native American word "Quinnehtukqut," meaning "beside the long tidal river." The state was named for the river.</div>]]></description>

Since the average price of a black slave in Connecticut was ~22 that year and the rate in Massachusetts was ~0 to ~20, this was a worthwhile venture for a Boston slaver.</div>]]></description>
