         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Some of our members embarked on a trip to Pasir Ris Library to learn from its staff on the strategies adopted by them to stimulate students' interest in reading. These were some of the learning points gathered:<br><br>1. The layout of the library should allow students to move around freely and easily see the book covers, which could arouse their interest in learning.<br><br>2. The use of spaces for discussions centered around books and private studying.<br><br>3. The kind of activities that libraries can organize to facilitate interest in reading.<br><br>4.
