3 tired and hungry soldiers are heading through a small village. The townspeople who live in the village have very little food to spare. The townspeople know the soldiers are going to be hungry and are afraid to share their food because they may have to go hungry. So they all hide their food from the soldiers. When the soldiers ask for food, they are given good reasons why the villagers cannot share. The soldiers realize they need to be creative and find a way to create a meal for everyone so they can eat. In the end, the entire village pitches in to create stone soup and the townspeople and the soldiers share a feast.

The Soldiers: The soldiers are traveling and are starving for food they ask the villagers for food and nobody is willing to share. The soldiers are witty and come up with the idea of making stone soup not for just themselves but for the whole village. They are also persistent because under the circumstance they could either starve or find a way to get the towns people to share their food.

The towns people: The townspeople feel as though the soldiers always steal there food take there beds and are not looking out for there best interest. The towns people are scared they don't want to be taken advantage of. The towns people are also selfish at first because they don't know these soldiers and are unwilling to share with them.

Question: in relation to the students there are some key questions that I would ask that could tell me a lot about the students.

1st question: would be willing to share with the soldiers if you had enough food in the beginning? would you be willing to add ingredients into the stone soup?
2nd question: If you were the hungry soldiers would you be willing to ask a stranger for food? What other ways might the soldiers have been able to get food from the townspeople.
