         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cars were very useful to use for far distance traveling in the 1920's. Roads had to be rebuilt to match the needs for the automobiles and new road rules were introduced for safety. Their skinny tires made it easier to cut through mud. Many cars were made through out the years, making it more affordable for the people. And many improvements were made throughout the years to satisfy the customer's needs.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sports in the 1920s was known as "Golden Age of American Sports" and also the "Age of the Spectator". New gymnasium and stadium were built for the athletes. Baseball was invented &amp; began to gain popularity, among with other sports. Radios and newspaper made it easier for people to keep up with the current events. Furthermore, for the first time ever, people started paying to see athletes compete with other competitors. However, women weren't allowed to participate in sports, as it was seen as "unfeminine".</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Despite all the luxurious and new inventions of in this time, there were many Americans that were suffering in poverty. More than 60% of Americans lived just below the poverty line. The 1920s was still a time of sexism and racism. Even though women were able to express themselves more openly, they had low wages and were mostly employed as waitresses or cleaners. Also the African-Americans did not enjoy the "roaring" times as much either, as they experienced racism and was poorly paid from their upper class oppressors.</div>]]></description>

Many investors bought stocks with borrowed stocks, and because of the poor policy from the president, it lead to the rise of the stock prices. Making it impossible for the buyers to buy new stocks because of the rise of prices, and the lose of their customers from all over the world. Resulting in the falling of the economy and became as the "Great Depression". Many businesses went bankrupt causing numerous people to go into poverty. </div>]]></description>
