They took initiative to get the necessary training and create much needed process documentation and even helped each other learn along the way. Everyone on the team has proven to be a dedicated, hard worker and they always have smiles on their faces no matter how hectic the work day might be. Their team spirit is what makes me enjoy coming to work.

I believe a great way to practice gratitude would be through birthday recognition. My team decorated my entire cubicle with a huge birthday sign, balloons, Wawa gift card, champagne, confetti, and even a disco light on my... birthday this year! It made my entire day and had me smiling from cheek to cheek. :)

When possible I try to give kudos publicly for a job well done during a larger group meeting or show my gratitude by bringing in lunch or treats for the team to enjoy.

I write an affirmation on my door (expo markers work well on glass) almost every week. I pick one from the "I Am" app or personalize my own message connected to a current win, feat, or epiphany. I find out through conversation how it tends to align with what others are experiencing too, further affirming the magic.

Offering to cover an early morning or late shift. The end of the week usually ends with all of us expressing our thanks and appreciation on Slack for jobs well done. We sometimes exchange small tokens for birthdays or holidays. We each keep them visible on our desks [as] a reminder that we care, and have cared for each other.
