This operations contribute for the global warming, that increase the temperature, create more severe storms and increase drought. The impact of global warming, which the oil extractions are one of the reasons, is that it can destroy animal habitats and it can be harmful for humans as well.


    Only in Petrobras, one of the biggest brazilian oil companies, extract 41 thousand of barrels per day and the US. total petroleum production averages about 21.691 million barrels per day in 2023.
