Hi families!

Here goes a special video highlighting our first month of school—we’ve had such a wonderful start! The kids have been exploring and learning about animals, were we’ve been working on classifying them into groups like mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. They’ve been so curious and excited to discover what makes each group unique!

This Padlet will be our little hub for sharing the songs we sing during the day, like the Days of the Week song, and other fun tunes we’re learning along the way. Feel free to check in regularly to sing along at home or just see what we’re up to!

Queremos compartir un poco con ustedes que durante estas semanas hemos estado explorando con los niños y niñas el tema del otoño y cómo esta estación trae consigo muchos cambios en el entorno y en los seres vivos. Hemos observado juntos cómo cambian los colores de las hojas, cómo algunos animales se preparan para el invierno y qué transformaciones ocurren en las plantas y árboles.

Además, hemos estado trabajando en actividades de clasificación de hojas, que los niños trajeron con mucho entusiasmo desde sus casas. Analizamos sus formas, tamaños y colores, y aprendimos a agruparlas según sus características. Esta experiencia ha sido muy enriquecedora y ha despertado mucha curiosidad e interés en los niños por la naturaleza y los cambios del entorno.

This week we’ve been having so much fun exploring The Cat in the Hat and learning all about rhymes! 📚✨ Since May 26th was Book Day, we’ve dedicated the whole week to celebrating books — discovering stories, talking about our favorite books, and diving into the joy of reading. A big thank you to Iván’s family for lending us more Dr. Seuss books to share, compare, and enjoy even more rhymes together! ❤️

It’s about orcas (killer whales) in Australian waters that have been seen hunting great white sharks and eating only their livers! 🐋🦈 Scientists confirmed this behavior using DNA analysis, and it’s been making waves in the marine world.

Queremos compartir con ustedes una experiencia muy especial que hemos vivido en el aula. Durante estas semanas, hemos estado aprendiendo sobre las características de los animales: sus cuerpos, hábitats, formas de desplazarse y cómo se alimentan.

A partir de todo lo aprendido, los niños y niñas pusieron a volar su imaginación y crearon sus propios animales fantásticos. Combinaron texturas, habilidades y partes del cuerpo de distintos animales reales para inventar seres únicos y sorprendentes. ¡La creatividad fue la gran protagonista!

Fue una actividad muy enriquecedora que les permitió aplicar lo aprendido, expresarse libremente y disfrutar del proceso de creación. Las producciones finales pudieron verlas en el vidrio de nuestro salón estos días .

Our friend Sierra shared the song Friday I’m in Love with us… and it became part of our routine! We love singing it, learning the days of the week, and enjoying music together. In our class, every day has its own melody.

Here you can see one of our students, he was labeled with the parts of the body — a fun way to show how much we’ve learned! 💪😊
