This is the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. In the specific region of Houston Harvey hit. Harvey flooded most of Houston.

This is the environment of Earth. The glacier is melting because of the warming of the earth. If we took better care of early this wouldn’t happen.

This is a specific place in Houston. This place is very different from others. There is no other house that has the same coordinates.

This map shows the geography of North America. You can analyze the data. It can give you a better understanding of North America.

This is an example of a human system. It shows what humans have made. Humans have made a lot of great cities like these.

This is an example of a Physical system. It is a tornado and only nature can cause it. Many tornadoes are very deadly and dangerous.

I chose this picture because it is a map. Maps show where things are. If it is showing where things are then it is showing the world in spatial terms.

A hurricane is a physical System that geographers study. A physical system is a study of natural feature of Earths surface. A hurricane is an example.

A human system is how humans reshape the Earth with everyday activities. For example this picture show how people are helping other people and reshaping Earth.

Environment is the natural world. This is an island that was just recently formed. It is an example of environment.


Uses of Geography

These are two pictures comparing Miami. Looking are these pictures you are using Geography to compare these 2 maps. 

RemoveSpatial terms- is when questions are asked about how and why something is there. The aftermath of the storm is in the picture above. We see that the storm is the reason why everything is destroyed and the how this happened was with high winds and water.

Places and regions- a geographic part of the country with similar characteristics. Texas has mountain regions in North Western area. The major regions in Texas are the Gulf Coastal Plains, Interior Lowlands, Great Plains, and Basin and Range Province.

Physical system- A natural feature observed on Earth's surface such as a hurricane is an example of a physical system.A hurricane is a physical system because scientist study this system to create predictions about upcoming hurricanes and or to predict that hurricane. Natural disasters are examples of physical systems.

Human systems- How humans help or react to the Earth. After the storm people came together to help rebuild and tear down homes. People helped by donating things which reshaped human kind progressively.

Environment and society- The world as itself. Cleaning up puts the world back to its normal self and reduction of pollution. Since some did not flood like the picture above it is important to help clean the mess made and have everything back to normal.

Uses or geography- where something is on a map. On this map we aren't able to tell how far away something is but we can tell where it it. Maps are important , they tell us direction.

The map shows us all of the places where people. The map helps geographers to see where people need treatment. This is how it shows the world in spatial terms.

Places and Regions

Geographers study the surroniding area . They can find intrestings by using there logical knowlidge . Such as they can probaly use the river to find a few fish . 

Physical Systems*

A volcanoes is studied for many reasons. One reason is when it erupts it can cause lots of destruction but can creat islands. Many islands have been formed from a volcano .

Human Systems

Humans build factories to do things faster and cheaper. The factories have systems, from the high tech computers to the shifts people work, these are all systems.

Environment and Society

The people affected by Harvey and by Irma have helped in many ways. People that have lost their homes, other people have given up theirs to help people in need. The Emery community has been helping clean out houses effet by the flood.

Uses of geography

Geography helps in many ways because how else would we know where maria is heading. We all like to go on vacation but we can’t go if we don't know where we are going and all places on earth are a location. If it has a cordance it is a location.

Element #3: This explainers physical systems. In the picture it shows a huge wave crashing down. This huge wave is caused by Earth's physical process like a hurricane.
