I speak not, I trace not, I breath not thy name by Lord Byron

I speak not, I trace not, I breathe not thy name;
There is grief in the sound, there is guilt in the fame;
But the tear that now burns on my cheek may impart
The deep thoughts that dwell in that silence of heart. ...

In this poem the poetic devices here are mostly rhyme within each line. Some of them include onomatopoeias. As it also just mostly gives of a lot of imagery. 1 stanza with 21 lines. I chose this poem because it sounded interesting and that I got the same poem as someone else. The main idea is that of the Sins of people it is kind of similar to darkness due to the poems first four lines of the poem until it went better by uniting with people. There is a wildly contrast between having sinful thoughts and also thinking about oneself and then uniting with everyone. This reflects time and literature movements by showing how people think about each other and display it through poetry.
