I personally really love Xu Bing's “Background Story: Mount Lu” as I'm amazed by the way he made use of the transparency of each object to create shadows. From the front view, you would have thought it was a typical Chinese Landscape Painting, but as you go behind, you'll see discarded items that made this beautiful peaceful landscape!

I love Xu Bings artwork because of the large scale of his artwork yet tedious details that bring the artwork together. I love the massive structure which makes the viewers feel so little and the artwork so glorious.
