We try to focus on what is the reason that "Adik"(The boy) will learn Roti Canai at 15 years old. We wish Adik to become the protagonist in this documentary because our first impression when we went to the stall, the adik flipping roti skill is striking. 

Before we get into the progress to discover and explore this story, we have to get in touch with the father Encik Adi Elhim. Encik agrees with us to do a documentary with them.

Version 2
After a few times communicated with Encik through Whatsapp and also visit his stall. He is a very passionate and positive person. He is willing to provide the information that we need and also help us with the shooting. We try to approach Adik with some conversation but he really had no experience in talking with other people. So we change our protagonist to the father. The father also talks more about the information of his stall and business.

Before finalizing the story development and script, We were surprised that Mr Yow predict the storyline and the visual of this documentary, his advice is to make it different, approach the people who are close to Encik 
 
Version 3
It continues to focus on Encik Adi Elhim but this time more focus on his life and his family. As a father, he needs to take responsibility and solve all the challenges. His life looks like the Roti Canai, keep flipping on the table. Maybe you won't be touched by a story about a normal businessman, a normal father. Fortunately, Encik ok with our shooting. Our challenge for shooting is there are many people passing through, background ambiance is noisy. We try to wait until before Encik closed his stall and we do an interview, first time interview I do prepare questions about his business. The second time I wish to interview his son to create a story that shows the interaction between son and father, but I feel that his son feels nervous so I won't continue a long interview. After the presentation, we have a short meeting about the story. We have considered about to change to our views and interview our feeling when western people enjoy roti canai from the east people, and also try to find a representative from Encik's family to show the interaction between him and his family.
