The name Siam came from a Sanskrit word, syam. A forceful nationalist and modernist, he change the country’s name to Thailand. Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It's known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. In Bangkok, the capital, an ultramodern cityscape rises next to quiet canalside communities and the iconic temples. Located in the heart of mainland Southeast Asia, Thailand is a country of mountains, hills, plains, a long coastline along the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea,  not including the coastlines of some 400 islands and most of them in the Andaman Sea.Thai is the national and official language. The food, the prices, the incredible hotels, cheap hostels, beautiful islands and the ease of getting around any and all could be responsible for why Thailand is so popular. Thailand has three seasons of weather in a year: the hot season, the rainy season and the cool season. There are a lot of festivals in Thailand such as:Water Festival, Ghost Festival, Lantern Festival, Rocket Festival....... Bangkok is the only cosmopolitan city in a country of small towns and villages and is Thailand's cultural and commercial centre. I hope all of can find the country, which you want to travel. Second Sampeah

When Cambodian greet their bosses, older person or higher ranking people, they place their both palms together at the mouth level.

When Cambodian greet their parents, grandparents or teacher, they place their both palm together at the nose level.

Fourth Sampeah

When Cambodian greet the king or monks, they place their both palm together at the eyebrows level.

Fifth Sampeah

When Cambodian pray to the God or sacred statues, they place their both palm together at the forehead level.

Sampeah is an important part of the Khmer culture. It´s not only a form of greeting but also used to say thank you or apologize.  Presenting Sampeah is a sign of respect and politeness and it is considered impolite not to return Sampeah.

 

The second president is Kim Jong-il. He was born on 16 February 1941. And he passed away on 17 December at 8:30 am due to a massive heart attack while travelling by train to an area outside Pyongyang, North Korea. The third president of 

North Korea was Kim Jong-un. He was born on 8 January 1982, Pyongyang.  North Korea has 71 public holidays to celebrate in total, and they are often combined with military parades, mass dancing, mass games, fireworks, and other celebratory events. There are some popular foods in North Korea such as Naengmyeon, Clam BBQ in Nampho, Pansangi in Kaesong, and Bibimbap. Also, rice dishes are traditional meals and kimchi is the traditional side dish.This side dish often goes along with most of the main courses especially juk, Bulgogi or noodles. Soju liquor is the best-known. There are four distinct seasons in North Korea such as winter, summer, spring, and autumn. North Korean people can’t leave their country. If they get caught escaping, they will get kill or rape mostly, women got rape if the army caught them escaping. All beautiful women were chosen to be the army or the police. Some of them didn’t want to do it but they couldn't refuse or else they could lose their lives. In North Korea, if you are married and you are a woman, you have to go to black market and sell food or stuff everyday. But if you are a man, you can stay at home or just go out with your friends.
