Annadele:However i've read somewhere in the internet that one shelterbox cost approximately RM3000. Isnt that too much?Surely not everyone affected by the disaster can have one shelterbox each.

Syafiqah: think one family should be provided with one box each. It is quite pricey but very reasonable. There are many things included in the box such,tent for shelter,thermal blankets,water filter n so on.

Aslan:In my opinion, the shelter using a paper is not quite favorable since the usage of paper would increase the trees being cut down. Furthermore, didnt those paper is not strong enough

Annadele:Well there is always the method of reusing papers. As explained in the video, the paper used are primarily from those of recycled ones. So the case of cutting more trees is not the problem here.A

Annadele:This method is never practised in Malaysia. Because only certain people would know how to construct a building using paper,It requires certain skills and knowledge.Plus Malaysian Goverment just opt to put victims in schools and halls to minimize the cost in construction.Furthermore,don't you guys think that this method is only a short term thing?

They may be avaiable for temporary shelter as annadele says short term, thus in the mean time the victims should think on rebuilding a new house for them and the government may help them for the financial things

Annadele:I love the idea of using bamboo as a material to building shelters. Although it is easy to build,and bamboo can be easily found,i think it is such a waste though,there are many more alternatives.

yeah i think using bamboo as an emergency shelter is quite practical plus, it can grow in a short term period of time. thus you can prevent deforestation.

Annadele:The main idea in article is the way in which portable and flexible architecture has been used in post-disaster situation,its history in this area and some recent examples

Syafiqah:well, other than that the main idea in this essay is on how designs implemented for other residential,commercial, industrial, military, medical and entertainment functions have potential to mitigate post-disaster problems,mainly post-flood.

Aslan: Hmmm, plus the other main ideas that i could extract is reconstruction facilities. Those new shelters,building adaptations and flood resistant architectural design.
