When posting on social media, there is many positive and negative outcomes that come along with it. A positive outcome that comes with it is that you can talk to your friends. With the pandemic we are experiencing, social media has been very helpful and a great source. Social media also has its negatives. For example, when you post something, it stays up forever. Items can get hacked easily and could find out your information.

Some good things about posting on social media is that you can have fun and talk to your friends. It also gives you a chance to make new friends while on social media sites. Some bad things about social media is that once you post something online, it will be there forever and also another bad thing is that you can overshare information about yourself online and put out too much information about yourself and expose your own private information. Also If you put out extremely personal information about yourself online and your account gets hacked, all of that information will then be taken and that is not good at all.

I think the benefits are that you can grow like a fan base, and if you need for your parents to know what you are doing they can look at it but not mine. Some drawbacks are that you can have people hack you and steal all of your information like credit cards and spend all of your hard earned money. I agree that stuff you put on the internet stays on the internet but I don't really care about my stuff I still agree posting some risking stuff should not be posted. But if they are just images of you you should not be ashamed if people make fun of you

Some benefits of sharing on social media are to show others your life and to contact others. Some drawbacks of social media are that your posts are saved, oversharing and spam accounts. One perspective in the video that I agree with is that just because you post all the time, it doesn't mean you are going to get the attention you want. If you post for people to like you, it doesn't always help, sometimes it makes it worse.

Another thing is that people will learn things that they need to know.
People can find where you live and they can find personal information. They can act like they are you by using your credit card and even hacking all the devices in your house.

A benefit to using social media is that, it will save you past memories. So, in the future and you randomly stumble upon that photo you took is say, a different country, you would see it in your memories. But, the problem with social media is it saves everything and people can also save it if they see it. That means if you take an embarrasing photo as a little kid and post it, it will always be there.
