Since 2020 he has sold 45 million records just in the US itself, he has a big community of people that also listen to people such as Kanye and Kid Cudi. My artist Travis Scott is one of my favorite artists because I really like his flow and how he has very unique beats in a lot of his music. Especially in his new album Utopia, because when I first listened to it I really thought it wasn't that good and I was a little disappointed because of how hyped up it was. Later once I listened to it more I found it very good and really liked it. I also really like him due to his connection with Kanye, I don't really have a good story I just really like his music and how he advertises his albums.

I think the album he really tells stories and stuff going on in his life is on Utopia because on some of his songs he really talks about the struggles and bad things he's gone through in his life. In one of the songs called "MY EYES" he really gets into everything and tells a really good story when you listen to the lyrics. One of the lines especially "This shit wasn't love, it got me f***ed up" where he realizes that maybe one of his past relationships really wasn't what he thought it was or in another lyric he says "All that green and yellow, that drip from your eyes is telling', tell you demise" which he is talking about Kylie Jenner and there relationship. Another lyric in the song is " I replay them nights, and right by my side all I see is a sea of people that ride wit me, If they just knew what Scotty would do to jump of the stage and save him a child" which he is talking about the Astroworld event where people died because of overcrowding and he caught a lot of backlash for doing nothing, but he talks about the people that stayed with him through it.

Some lyrics that I really find cool from Travis Scott are from his new album Utopia. One song I got some lyrics from is called "THANK GOD" and in the song he says "Thank God I breathe Cause S**t I speak is what they need, I tell no lies" and I find this very cool because since I'm a Christian and have a belief in God that he is talking about thanking God for what he has. Another song from that album that has some really good verses is called "I KNOW" where he opens up about it alcohol problems again and he says " It's 5 AM and i'm drunk right now, tell me can we still f**k" usually in his songs he doesn't talk about his past but he was opening up now.

Travis Scott has gained so much inspiration from other rappers such as Kid Cudi and mostly know Kanye West. Around 2012 Travis Scott started getting really big but many people don't know that was because of the help of Kanye West. Travis listened to him when he was younger and took inspiration from his unique style of music, when Kanye started to see his popularity start to rise he called Travis and told him about his interest in him. According to an interview Travis said "First thing Kanye gave me was a Doritos taco from taco bell, he gave it to me on a fancy platter" which was a cool moment for him and his first interaction with him. They called almost every other day and had a very good relationship with Kanye, later in Travis Scott's new album while on stage he brought out Kanye to perform with him.
