The target audience of my music magazine will be 16-24 year old males. They are the age range and gender that I have identified through the process of making my magazine. This a very specific age range to aim my magazine towards. It is important that my magazine is targeted towards the correct people because the wrong market will not be interested in my magazine at all.

My front cover attracts my audience in a number of different ways. The fact that it is unusual will again draw attention to it. The next thing that will draw attention to the target audience is the bold text on the page. It stands out and contrasts with what is behind it. This is a way of relating to and linking in with the target audience. My genre focuses on being different and standing out. I feel that I have done this through the font and colour schemes that have been used

Another way that I am reaching my target audience is through the editors notes. It reaches out to all of the people who fall into this category. It thanks them for reading the magazine and it talks about how important they are to the magazine as a whole.
