Having a great long-term memory is something I am very proud of. So many events have taken place in the 17 years of my life, but somehow, I always recollect vivid memories from my past. When I do remember certain memories, they tend to be detailed, specific, and clear. Due to my ability to remember things, I decided to create a Padlet about this topic to further understand its parts. From all four subtypes of long-term memory, my episodic memory tends to be the strongest. For instance, my clearest and most favorite memory is my first time trying out dance classes. I was three years old and had entered the studio with normal clothes and tennis shoes. My mom and the teacher tried persuading me to join the other girls so I could test out the environment to see if I actually liked it. I remember refusing to join because I did not have the proper dance shoes. Apart from the events that took place that day, I remember the bright, sunny room we were in, with its dark brown floors. The huge mirrors at the front of the studio fascinated me at such a young age, as I had never seen anything like that. When I finally registered and joined, each day that goes by, even 17 years later, I remember my feelings when I entered the room.

Question For You

💡What is your favorite event that you never seem to forget?
