The tree would be used as a base and the foundation. We would dig for dirt and use that as a pallet and to stick things together. Leaves would be used to cover holes with and also make a soft pallet. Rocks would be used to create a barrier for the entrance against predators.

Raspberry; has thorns make leaves and stems that are unappealing to animals that may eat them.

Red squirrels; fur changes during cold and warm times, can live to 5 to 6 years, we would use traps out of wood and have berries for them so we can wait and capture then. Beavers; semi-aquatic, webbed feet to swim, large tail to store fat; we would catch them on the land and one of us will be between them and their dam and the other will be in front of it.
