Plannning

Team members: Seyeon, Jacinda, Gaeun

We decided to make a 3 floored house by using a paper for 2nd graders. We will going to use the thick paper for the ingredients to make a doll house. The 2nd graders will going to advice us about the doll house to create a better door house next time.

1. We cut the paper in to 3 pieces because we will going to make 3 floored door house.

1. We made a furnitures first before we construct the shape of a doll house.

2. We built the house by putting the 3 pieces on the bottom to the top.

4. We made a stairs by making a rectangular hole on the side of the piece of floor then, we connected those with the stairs.

5. We put the furnitures on each floors.

After finishing making a doll house, we went to vist 2nd graders to have a feedback from them. We made a survey question too see what they like about our doll house and what they dislike about it.

According to the survey, most of the kids answered that they are satisfied with the doll house which was 😊 sign.

2. What can be better

They want more furnitures like TV and the dolls.

3. What is your favourite part of the house?

Some of them said that they like the doll house because it has a ladder also the bed which was very big (Considering the size of the doll house).

4. Is the side of the furniture good?

The ratio of the furniture in the house is 😊>😑>😩. Many of 2nd graders are satisfied with the furnitures, but they also said that they want some ornaments like dolls ( dinosaurs) which can decorate the house.

Improvement

The improvement that can be made is I think we need more decoration such as making a dolls to attract kids attention. Since, we made the furnitures which we really need in our life, we only nade the furnitures that are necessary. Next time, I want to decorate my house more. My house was too basic, so I want to add some more details into my doll house, such as making transparent roof.

While making a doll house, we decided to make a walls on the floor because we can't have a open toilet.

Before making a doll house, we were just thinking to use stairs to balance the floor but maybe it can collapse, So we used some paper stick that we cut for the doll house's column.

We didn't plan to make a roof for our dollhouse. But, we thought that our doll house was too ordinary since we only have basic things for people to live. We wanted to make some highlight part of the doll house. So, We concluded that we are going to making a transparent roof by using plastic for the aesthetic.

Colorful doll house, Where there's lots ornaments and toys for them to play.

What parts of doll house makes children attracted?

The colours of the doll house and the ornaments that the dollhouse has. Since most of children's interest is focused on things that can they enjoy with, the colors and ornaments such as swimming pool, dolls can attract children.

Kids these days rely on the digital technologies to much. Such as playing computer games or watching TV. It affects childrens health in a bad way both physically and mentally. By building a doll house, we can expand children's imagination.

Children in now a days have a tendancy of spending too much money on doll house. Making a doll house with cheaper ingredients, people can save money from it.

The ingriedients that we are using is affordable and beneficial for environment. Doll house is often made of plastics. when people throw this away, it causes a pollution.

The impact of making a doll house is to know what kind of doll house does children like and by having an advices from them we can create a better door house for children.
Now a days, children have tendency of overusing their money for toys. By making a doll house, We want to tell to children that using the cheap and environmental ingridients such as woods and paper pads can be a decent doll house.

Kids gave a very satisfying comments about our doll house. But they want us to have swimming pool, more colors, and more designs for them to play. Because our doll house only had basic things to live. But I think it is better to have the ornaments sticked to the doll house. Since, kids played with the ornaments, some of them became broken.

Making doll house having 3 floors.The doll house would be made out of wood. In the door house, it will include the ornaments such as bedroom, desk, swimming pool and extras. For the door house, our target audience is a kids, so our team is planning to include the colors, toys, and the playing ground to attract kids attention.

1st picture analyzis

I can see the roof of the doll house. The roof is in triangular shape and there are ornaments inside. The ornaments are just basic. There is the ornaments such as bed, closet and carpet. Since, they did not made too much ornaments, the house looks very clear.

2nd picture analyzis

In the first picture, I can see that there's a stair connected between two doll houses, The stair is made out of wood (Also, the doll house is made out of wood).

3rd picture analyzis

I'm making a kitchen for the doll house, I wanted to look for the kitchen for my idea of doll house kitchen. The material that the kitchen on the picture is wood. There's not much tools for cooking in that kitchen but it is very detailed, such as the bottons and the stove.
