         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Have keyboard to facilitate typing.<br>2. Touch enabled to facilitate drawing / inking.<br>3. Have rear facing camera for ease of photo / video taking. (need to confirm if this particular model for PLDP has this as it's listed as optional on Acer website)<br>4. Run Windows for maximum familiarity &amp; ease of support by peers, teachers and ICT Support Team.<br>5. Not iOS (sorry Siti) cos my personal experience is that Google apps dun play very nicely with iOS. :(<br><br>This particular Acer model seems to hit the sweet spot based on the above analysis.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>3 areas of common focus for C&amp;T<br>1. learning how to do research (Research)<br>2. understanding the difference between data and information (Analyse)<br>3. Drawing effective outcomes/ conclusions from the information (Apply)<br><br>All coursework subjects require research skills from students. Currently there are lots of research tools, analytic tools available for use. Yet from observation, students at our level lack the necessary skills to properly complete the research cycle. The syllabus requirements are either undefined or largely differentiated when it comes to teaching students to do research.<br><br>Personalised Digital Learning Programme may just offer us the platform and the timeframe to allow students to learn well the research skills needed that will be much needed in future and further educational needs.<br><br>It is so important, yet no core subjects seems to really systematically teach it. Seriously just look at the 'A' level students or the poly students struggle when they do their project work. It is deep end learning for them.</div>]]></description>
