I will not agree with the legalization of divorce in the Philippines. It is because if divorce were to be legalized, couple will think that marriage is no longer holy and important. That it is easily to find another partner once they have separated. It would be easy for two partners to separate with each other, not thinking of how much longer their relationship was, not even care if it would affect anyone. They will not tend to think of a solution to longer their marriage and will never give efforts on how to make their relationship stronger or last longer. Their separation means disregarding their children's future and throwing away special memories with their family. Once divorce is legalize, lots of relationship will not work out and numerous of homeless and uneducated children will suffer in the future.

Yup I totally agree, there is just no point in continuing the marriage if both parties are not happy anymore.

I don't agree because legalization of divorce will make couples think that it's a way to solve the problem instead of fixing the marriage. As two people united as one in front of God and the people, they should respect how holy marriage is.

I do not agree with the legalization of Divorce here in the Philippines. If divorce were to be legalized, it would amplify the mentality that marriage can be easily broken, which may result in people putting less effort into making it last and ensuring that they will pick the right partner. And it always involve the child. And children are who suffered the most in such situations. If the divorce was legal, then marriage should also have been removed because when they get married, they have a mindset that when they fight or have a problem, there is always divorce instead of fixing it . Then a marriage is no longer holy or sacred.

I do not agree that divorce should be legalized especially in a country like the Philippines where people easily judge, easily make conclusions, and easily make their own interpretations on something even if they do not know the whole story yet. Hence, I think if divorce will be legalized, when couples got an argument, people surrounding them will add fuel to the fire by simply saying "i-divorce mo na 'yan" which makes things sound simple. But I believe, married couples should always stick to their promise of staying with each other 'til death separates them. That it why before settling into marriage, two people should make sure that they know their partner first.
