To be with people who seek to save what is about to be lost forever—that is something truly inspiring. Attending Kampo Kalikasan wasn’t something we planned or wrote on our New Year’s resolutions, yet it found its way to us last October 3. Through this event, we learned more about keeping our home sustainable—not only for the present but also for the generations to come.

In this Padlet, each section shares meaningful insights from the 16th National Kampo Kalikasan. Every part reflects our initiatives, and we hope it inspires you to do better—for a better world.

Kampo Kalikasan was a place we thought we would learn more about the environment—how to sustain resources and become resilient as young people. Yet, we discussed something even more timely and significant: corruption, the culture of dishonesty, greed, and denial that continues to permeate our country.

This destructive behavior is where the burning, the loss, and the shaping begin. As voices of truth, we must stand for what is right—rejecting what is unjust and holding people accountable for their wrongdoings. For a sustainable future, we must begin the fight where the breaking starts.

Simple Gesture for Future

Engaging in such an activity feels magical. A tree signifies life, and planting one is like a mother caring for her home. Kampo Kalikasan does not only focus on fighting the culture of dishonesty, denial, and corruption in our country—it also seeks to nurture and multiply the resources we have today.

This simple gesture is a stepping stone toward something greater. Imagine this: if you, the reader, plant a tree in your backyard, it becomes part of a collective effort—a fusion of small, simple acts that together build a better future.
