As a teacher I have to be flexible in my expectation for when students should have the a concept mastered. Inquiry is not done in isolation in a way that builds our students for their needs. We need teachers to think about the pillars of inquiry and intentionally scaffold lessons and time during the week for students to participate in these pillars.
