Urban Morphology is changes towards the time. The pattern can be call Urban Fabric of Urban Tissue. Every city has their urban fabric that make them unique. Basically, urban morphology is viewed from top.

There are four (4) morphological elements that influenced the pattern of Urban Fabric:

1. Land uses
2. Building structures
3. Plot pattern
4. Cadastral/street pattern  

In summary, there are two terms that you need to know; i. Urban Solid and ii. Urban Void. Urban solid is the plot area and building structure (in black colour), while urban void any space between building including street, open space and etc (in white colour). Any changes in any elements will result the changes in urban fabric/tissue.

As future Urban Designer, you should know the morphological dimension of your site, the elements and the past, present and the future of it.
