1. One of the experiences I have observed with active learning this week is at the daycare I work. The preschoolers are learning how they write names and letters so I gave them shaving cream and showed them the letter of the week and how to write their names in the shaving cream. Then later the students worked together in pairs to master the letter of the week along with their names .
2. Another example of active learning is when I was teaching my students how to share and work together. The preschoolers had to work together and build towers out of blocks. The children learn how to balance the blocks to make towers and certain shapes together.

1. One experience I have observed this week of Constructive learning that was being done well is when I was in classes through the UofM. I was being introduced to my course work for each class when I had to learn new material and the expectations of each class.
2. Another example of constructive learning is when the students in my preschool class were learning how to spell their names. Practice time was given and through persevering and continued practice they learned how to write their names.

Another example I observed this week was when my coworker and I worked together to help design the new pre-K classroom for this coming school year.

Another example of authentic learning is when my mom was building her chicken coop at her school she had to take the area and measure how many shingles she needed to help build her chicken coop.

1. One way I have observed Intentional learning is by asking my students in the beginning of the year what they want to learn in this school year and what goals they want to accomplish.
2. Another example of Intentional learning being done well is when one of my students was using a whiteboard to write her name then after the lesson ended the student continue to work on the white board with her name.
