Yesterday my class went to Hide Out, Youth Zone and we had a tour around.

We walked all the way near McDonald’s as one of the roads were blocked because of a pipe.

We took the bus stop behind McDonalds at the bus stop and we sat downstairs. Some people paid and others had bus passes.

First, we sat at the table and we were offered tea or coffee. Some people had tea, but not everyone did. There were digestives aswell.

After that, we went to the sensory room first to look around and if you throw the cushion, the colour would change. You could stand on the floor with the fish and water but on the screen which is interactive.

Then, we went outside and looked at the football area and gardening area. The city goes there aswell, but not the actual famous players.

We looked at the plants after and on one of them was a strawberry which was already grown, so I picked one and ate it and some other people did too.

The people that toured us around was a woman called Emily and a man called Alfie who used to be a student at the College.

After we looked outside, we went inside and looked at some other rooms (I don’t remember the order) but we looked at the room with rock climbing, the room with a gym and boxing arena.

After we looked at those rooms and some other rooms I don’t remember about, we went upstairs and looked at the music room with instruments and microphones.
There was a bass, guitar and keyboard and there was a recording room/sound booth room where you can play music or mix beats.
We looked at the room where you can make podcasts and talk about anything.

We looked at other rooms like the employability room, the room that looks like a hair salon where you could have private conversations and talk about things which could also be personal.

We went to to the kitchen where Alfie always goes and makes food. His favourite food is Cornflake pie.

We went to the room where you could do acting and be behind cameras which was the media room I think.

I think we went to other rooms but I don’t remember the other ones.

After that, everyone played instruments and Mirza rapped and sang Bollywood songs.

Some people played bass, guitars and keyboards.

Then we all had a donut that were strawberry and chocolate flavour and toffee (or caramel I think) and then went out the Youth Centre, took a bus into town with Alfie and got back to College (Citylabs Campus).
