1.) 1980's runaway inflation hurt workers and employers.
 2.)Inflation is a period of sharp increases in prices.
3.) In 1985, inflation reached almost 1,000 percent, therefor an item that was $10 last year, is now more than $100 the following year. 
4.)Second crisis- Argentina faced a foreign debt crisis.
5.) In order to help reduce inflation and ease the debt crisis, the gov't kept wages the same, and laid off many gov't workers.
