Hamish Fulton (born 1946) is a British walking artist. Since 1972 he has only made works based on the experience of walks. He translates his walks into a variety of media, including photography, illustrations, and wall texts. Since 1994 he has begun practicing group walks. Fulton argues that 'walking is an art form in its own right' and argues for wider acknowledgement of walking art.

What I like about the work? I like how Hamish has got all of these people to be involved in art. I could use this in my work as it is repetitive so i could repeat something in my work.

What I like about the work? I like how Hamish has added text over this lanscape image to make it look a bit like a poster. I could do this in my work by adding text to an image.

we had to write down what we saw, heard or felt for 2 minutes. then we had to turn those bullet points into sentences and turn the sentences into a poem. i wrote that I could see buildings, clouds and cars as I was looking out of the window. For what I heard I wrote that I heard cars and computers and for feelings I wrote that I was bored and tired. My poem says 'I'm feeling bored, its cold outside. listening to cars race past, staring into the concrete jungle'
