I think it sends the wrong message of us vs. them rather than we’re all in this together. Also, for staff that cannot be there after school for other commitments (i.e. family), meeting after school at an alternate location is not equitable. This will be frustrating for many staff who see core teachers meeting during the school day. Perhaps this could be done on a smaller scale with coverage provided?
