Coach hedge is an impatient, jingoistic satyr. “ all right, enough talk’ Coach hedge sized up Michael Kahale. “Let me take this joker down’  I’ve handled bigger” This shows that only after a bit of negotiating Coach hedge wants fight them already.

Reyna is a brave person who try’s to negotiate before they have to fight. “ The legion has sent a welcoming committee’ well try to parlay Reyna decided “ I may be able to reason with him” “Come aboard Michael”. This shows that Reyna doesn’t want to have meaningless bloodshed when they can try to negotiate.
