This made me think that when people are overwhelmed but they still have work to do, they should finish their work first and rest later because whatever they have to do is most likely preparing them for their future.

It shows that it was very serious and impacted different students in different ways. It is important because it shows that the murder of Mr. Chippendale was gruesome, and it has changed the entire community of Tower High.

This evidence shows how teenagers feel pressured by school because Karlyn doesn't want to disappointed her parents and how she is happy for not going to put stress on her parents either. It shows how she wants to impress her mom. I wonder if Mr.C helped her or didn't.

He's shot!
Help me! Help me!'"(Glenn 6).

This passage in the poem add to the overall story to show what the scene of Mr.C's death looked liked. The poetic device they used was imagery. Within this passage I could really see the moment that this girl was seeing the death and getting help. I could feel the pain and yelling in my throat as I read it. This poem adds what the girl looked like as she was screaming for help, because I could see her yelling and trying to get the words out of her mouth but was difficult to. This passage makes this scene more tense because it feels like she tried to say something and it was hard to and they had to race against the clock to try to save Mr.C.

This made me think of how upset her mother is and how she needs to study and do work so you can have good grades. Then go to college and get ready for the future and not have to rely on others to help you get and keep a job with a good salary instead of a salary of what you need to live on.

This adds sympathy to Celia because she seems like she liked Mr. Chippendale. This could also be a cover up to make it seem like she is said even if she might have done it. This is hard to decide if she was lying or if she was being true. iI all of this, this was important to establish how Celia felt about mr chippendale, even if she was lying.

It is showing that this person thinks one of the kids shot Mr. Chippendale even though it could be an adult. He also gave her the confidence that she could do it. It helps readers understand that Mr. Chippendale was well liked by some students and he was very helpful to the people who asked him for advice. This is important because it opens the idea of, why would someone shoot him if he was liked by students? Also this makes readers think, was there another side of him that was not told in the story? The side where he is misbehaving, and is a rebel. That could possibly be the reason he got shot.
