Our school celebrated the Day of people with Down syndrome and did several activities on the topic of pupils with disabilities. The student council of our school designed the workshop "We are all special", the goal of which is to sensitize for pupils with disabilities, to promote diversity and tolerance, while respecting each person as unique. The pupils conducted the workshop in all classes of the school. Also, as a sign of support, pupils in the school wore different socks like a sign of support for people with Down syndrome. The school also organized an action to collect toys and story books for the children's hospital in Rijeka.

They thought about how they could help preserve the environment, what they can do. They concluded that it is best to organize an environmental cleanup. The pupils readily accepted the garbage bags and cleaned the school environment!

They visited the elementary school "Istituto comprensivo Maffi" from May 20 to 24. On the first day, the pupils presented their school to the host pupils, who then took them on a tour of the school. On other days, the students followed the lessons with their peers, played digital games and quizzes on the topic of sustainable development, and got to know Italian customs and culture. Also, they used every afternoon to discover the cultural and natural beauties of Rome. The pupils returned from the mobility full of useful experience, nice memories and new acquaintances! Our host school, the pupils, teacher and school staff were great! Thanks to them we had a great time in Rome!

One pupil also wrote an esay on the topic of Erasmus mobility for our school paper Galeb. They played with the rest of the pupils games on sustainable development and they all like it very much!
