World War 1

Main reasons the U.S. joined the war: Germany submarines attacked American merchant and passenger ships and Germany sent The Zimmermann Telegram. This was a coded message sent to Mexico from Germany, propositioning an alliance against the U.S. in exchange for land Germany had in the west.

World War 2
