I was born in Germany, but I  spend my childhood in my parents' village, 'New Sinopi', near Preveza. The village was named after our great grandfathers came here in 1922 as refugees because of the Greek-Turkish war.
When did you come to Preveza ?
I moved to this town 15 years ago, from my village and I work in the municipality of  Preveza.
Where do you live?
I live near the  old water tower.
What do you remember from our neighborhood?
The place used to be full of water reeds, no school or basketball court as you have today. Now everywhere you can see two-storied houses and I still remember there was a traditional cafe, instead of the mini-market.

I love my grandparents very much. So my grandmother will help me get information about how my neighborhood used to be.
   When my grandmother and grandfather came here they were alone in an estate with many lemon trees. They lived in beautiful nature. The few 
neighbors were a few meters away. A kilometer away lived my 
grandfather's sister with her children and they made a lot of friends. 
Over the years our neighborhood has been filled with houses and many children. Now our family lives here in the wonderful lemon and orange grove with many flowers around us.
