Mote is a tool that allows you give feedback on assignments such as projects and papers in a voice memo rather than typing out a bunch of text. Mote was created to cut down on time for things like this. By using these voice notes rather than typing out text, you're saving a bunch of time. This allows teachers to work quicker and more efficiently to get students' their feedback on their work faster. Mote can also be used for students who may have to deal with a language barrier. Mote can translate a total of 34 different languages if need be. It can also be difficult to read a person's tone of voice in a text submission. With Mote, students can recognize the empathy of a teacher's voice and other tones of voice from the teacher themself.

1. I think that Mote would be an excellent addition to the classroom for both teachers and students. Mote was created to cut down on the time it took for teachers to give their students feedback on their work. Instead of typing out a bunch of text, with Mote teachers can simply just records their thoughts through a voice note and upload that to the student's submitted work. This cuts down on grading time tremendously.
2. Mote can be helpful for students as well. As I mentioned briefly in one of the other sections above, it can be tough to recognize someone's tone of voice over text. It can be tricky at times to be able to tell if someone is mad, upset, sad, etc. when talking through text. Mote eliminates that issue. With the voice notes, you no longer have to worry about how your teacher is feeling. You can much more clearly recognize someone's tone of voice through a recording rather than text.
3. Another important aspect of Mote that I noticed after reading about and familiarizing myself with the website is the use of different languages. With Mote you can overcome a language barrier that a student might be dealing with. Mote can translate up to 34 different languages, something that I feel is very important to students whose English may not be the best.

I had never heard of Mote before, but I can definitely see myself using Mote in my future classroom. As a History teacher I imagine I will be reading over countless papers over the course of my career and Mote seems like it could make my life a lot easier when grading said papers.
