I have learnt how it is illegal to evade NS in Singapore, jail terms will be given based on the duration and severity and serving NS is our duty.
I have learnt that Dr Goh contributed to setting up the defense of Singapore by passing the NS law in Singapore. He also contributed to job creation with the establishment of Jurong Industrial.
I can contribute in volunteering my services as a voluntary police woman to support in keeping the civilian safe when I grow up.

Failure to serve NS

NS defaulters below age 40 will still have to serve NS, and will be recommended for a lighter sentence as compared to those who have evaded NS entirely.
