Therefore, I search the Harvard Reference of UWS for my dissertation. But the problem is:
I find one PDF guideline for Harvard Reference as the below link, but this file only gives example of how to reference book, journal and the online resources. What about other types? like, new-paper, report, book chapters and so on. Could the library released an official pdf document to detailed introduce the Harvard reference for each type of citation resources.
http://moodle1819.uws.ac.uk/pluginfile.php/332646/mod_resource/content/2/UWS%20Guide%20to%20Referencing.pdf

why not use proper Harvard Referencing System? there is no point in teaching students to use some randomly customised version of a proper citation and referencing system when (at PhD level) they should be publishing or submitting to conferences, and these will require proper standards. why expect properly trained academic staff members to learn some incorrect version of HRS so they are not marking students down for using incorrect HRS referencing which is correct UWS/HRS... just mentol

There are many examples missing in the collection of references, such as interviews and citation of online magazine articles with not know author. It makes it difficult to complete the bibliography in every essay because the available information in different websites is different from the general advice of the UWS (for example, you suggest underlining the title of the journals, while most pages suggest using italics), so it is difficult to know what the most trustable source is.
