I hope in the future you’re doing okay—or at least better than you’ve been before. I hope in the future, you learn to let things out and understand that it’s okay to not be okay, and even more okay to say it out loud instead of bottling it up until you relapse. I hope in the future you stop carrying everything alone, find your people, and lean on them. I hope you’ve figured out healthier ways to cope and don’t let yourself spiral to the point of breaking. May next year be kinder to you, and may you find the good things you’ve been waiting for.

first of all, lemme just say: you’re a whole legend for making it this far. like seriously, life’s been giving main character energy but also throwing random plot twists, and yet—you’re here. thriving (i hope). or at least surviving, which is equally valid.

are you still chasing those crazy dreams we had? i hope so. but even if you’re not, i hope whatever you’re doing makes you feel alive, like hearing your favorite song for the first time again.
