MY DEFINITION OF GRAVITATION

Gravitation is one of the fundamental forces of the Universe.
It's the force of attraction between two masses.
"Gravity" and "Gravitation" mean almost the same thing in everyday use. Sometimes scientists use "gravity" for the force that pulls objects towards each other, and "gravitation" for the theory about the attraction.

Dr Patricia "Padi" Boyd is a scientist who was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. At school she was interested in art not in science but during her last years of high school she began to like astronomy more and more and to be addicted to the series Cosmos. Then Padi studied physics in graduate school at Drexel University, becoming interested in computer modeling of stellar and galactic dynamics. After receiving her Ph.D., she came to Goddard Space Flight Center and X-ray Astronomy group. She now works as a USRA contractor for the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer mission.

.Padi's main interest is analyzing data from astronomical objects to search for periodic and non-periodic variations, to learn about the dynamical interactions taking place in the objects. She likes to vacacion at the beach and she loves singing indeed she's a part of a project called AstroCappella, which is an a capella group that performs songs about astronomy and I think it's a good way to combine her two passions : singing and physics.

I like her because at the beggining she wasn't interested in physics at all and then partly thanks to series she became curious about them . It reminds me a little because 4 years ago I hated English and everything which has to do with it . Then I discovered Netflix <3 and I started to like English more and more . When I'll be older , I'd like to live in a English-speaking country

The Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) is a large-scale physics observatory which detects cosmic gravitational waves.LIGO currently consists of two interferometers, each with two 4 km (2.5 mile) long arms arranged in the shape of an “L”. These instruments act as 'antennae' to detect gravitational waves.
