You would need a strong frame for the structure to hold the weight of the water plants and substrate. Making sure your wall is compatible is also crucial to a green wall because you have to make sure it can hold all the weight necessary and potential water damage.

I would use plants like lettuce, cabbage, and broccoli. Those are vegetables I use a lot and go well together with a wide selection of herbs. They would even thrive in Californias climate.

When maintaining a hydroponic system, you have to add nutrients to your plants because they grow without the additives soil has. You also need to check the pH levels in your water as well as the quality of the water.

I really like a modern design with natural bright green plants with just a hint of colorful plants. Preferrable to also have lots of windows around so it's a bright space. I would like to give off a calm relaxed environment while looking like a modern elegant green wall.

Overall, I would like to build a hydroponic green wall in Fresno California. The community could really use a healthy alternative. The plants I described above would do great in the climate they can be in the sun a lot and can grow in part shade. Also, by using the felt system it actually saves more water than using soil. It was a bit challenging in the beginning; I have never used padlock or made a concept map. But overall, I got a lot of great information about green walls and how to construct one. I researched many different topics and watched videos then was able to answer any questions I had.
