What about your thinking, learning, or work this week brought you the most satisfaction? Why?
What brought me the most satisfaction this past week was getting a good grade on a quiz that I worked really hard on studying for and it paid off.
3. How did you help the class learn this week? If you feel you didn't add to class or feel the need to contribute more consider what can you do next week to help other learners more? To help others learn in class more next week I think by coming to class more prepared or more attentive I could ask better questions and have better discussions.

How does your Genius Hour project use or build social capital? Use specific ideas from the Influencer book to support your reflection.
Our genius hour has social capital by having students working out together. While they work out they will have friends in class and they will help motivate one another to do better and help each other grow
putnam Chapter 3:9 covers experiential learning and concepts involved in that model. How can you help those you want to change behaviors use the experiential learning theory and develop the growth mind set?
Experiences help with learning way more then being told about an experience. We can help change peoples minds by telling them about say working out how it has amazing health benefits and even better if you eat clean, they can say that doesn't work but then tell them to work out and eat clean for a month and report how they feel and if they do it for a month they will come back having the experience of it and knowing eating clean and lifting have great benefits.

1. Focus and Measure - reflect on this concept and think about what you are really wanting to change and how would you measure that change and show success?
We are wanting to change gym class from team based class layout to a more weight lifting and physical activity aspect for more life time fitness. we can measure this by implementing it in the class room and waiting a few years and seeing if the obesity rates in america drop at all.

2. Find Vital Behaviors - reflect and select the one or two vital behaviors that are really driving the problem you are addressing. What are the MOST IMPORTANT one(s) to address?
two vital behaviors that are causing the problem is 1) kids are becoming lazy with technology so we need a way to get them active at home so they don't become obese
2) the second behavior would be kids being unmotivated to exercise so with this class lay out we will have ways to teach kids about physical activity and how to perform it and hopefully they will fall in love with it and start exercising on there own outside of class.

3. Engage all Six Sources of Influence - reflect on the six sources of influence and think about your strategy and methods. How would you plan to diffuse these into your project so you actually make a difference?

Personal Motivation
We would use personal motivation to try and get kdis motivated to exercise so when they go home they would rather exercise or go outside then just play games or be on there phone

Personal Ability
We would have the kids know they can do it, exercise isn't something hard and supposed to be a punishment, make it fun for them by letting them

social Motivation
We will want our class room to be motivational, having other students help motivate one another so they can all grow

Social Ability
If the students dont know what exercises are we can show them and teach them proper form or class mates will be able to help them out

Structural Motivation
The environment of the class room will be exercise and will help motivate students to exercise and try there hardest

Structural Ability
the environment will support the right behaviors. it will push students to become more motivated for exercise and hopefully teach them so they can continue this exercise throughout the rest of there lives
