Pamela Hdez. A01329397

Chocolate chips cookies were
invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield. She had a popular restaurant. And published
her cookbook M. Barrows & Company in which include the recipe of Chocolate
Crunch Cookies, which became a favorite cookie in American homes.

It was invented in Italia by Pietro
Ferrero when the cocoa beans taxes were so high and conventional chocolate
fabrication was difficult. It was made 50%chocolate and 50% hazelnut. It was
named Gianduja. Since 1964 it was called Nutella.

Ice cream recipes first appeared in
England. The recipe for ice cream was published in Mrs. Mary Eales's Receipts
in 1718.

The ice cream sandwiches were
invented by peddlers in New York; and creamwich it’s almost the same, it´s a pair
of cookies with ice cream in the middle.

Chocolate chips cookies are the most
famous cookies. And has its own day; August
4th is the chocolate chips cookies day. Nutella´s day in on February
5th and National Ice Cream
Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in July

Ice cream's origins are known to reach back as far as the second century B.C., although no specific date of origin nor inventor has been undisputably credited with its discovery. We know that Alexander the Great enjoyed snow and ice flavored with honey and nectar.

Historians estimate that this recipe evolved into ice cream sometime in the 16th century. England seems to have discovered ice cream at the same time, or perhaps even earlier than the Italians. "Cream Ice," as it was called, appeared regularly at the table of Charles I during the 17th century. France was introduced to similar frozen desserts in 1553. And it was introduced to America in the mid 1700

Refference: Milk Industry Foundation • National Cheese Institute • International Ice Cream Association. (2002).
