Sara wanted to make a big impact but not alone, she went from small village to small village to recruit young women. Overtime the young women had become strong, independent women and had taken this matter seriously. Sara Fortis and the 12 young women fought with other partisans to attack German supplies,  troops, and to kill collaborators.
