If parents don't care about student's homework the child won't care either. Schoology is a great resource for them. Parents have the ability to keep up there kids assignments making sure they are getting done and what there grades are. Giving parents  access to student's assignments and grades. There are a ton of daily report sheets to go off of, some have symbol reports where the student can provide behavior checks, or even write notes about what they did that day.
